Early release of our Halophile Router project, presented @net_mcr@twitter.com, is up at faelix.link/hphr — a @SaltStack@twitter.com-automated, @vyos_dev@twitter.com-powered template to deploy IRR- and RPKI-filtering, BCP38-compliant BGP routers for small ISPs. More info about it @uknof@twitter.com soon!

Finally getting around to releasing this project into the wild. Watch out on @vyos_dev@twitter.com 1.3: you need to be running rolling-202002221238 (or later) for the @SaltStack@twitter.com-minion functionality to be available.

@marek out of interest, I noticed the max v6 routes was set to around 260k in sysctl. Is there a reason for this? Is it v6 table size expectations?

@yetiops a bit of headroom (I roughly tripled the number of currently announced v4 and v6); and our internal v6 table is already four figures long just by itself!
